Dentures

We provide a full range of dentures which includes:

standard-acrylicStandard Acrylic Dentures

The least expensive type and by far the most common type of denture. If you have an NHS denture or a temporary denture, it is probably made with standard acrylic. This doesn’t mean they have to be poor quality though, with good quality acrylic teeth and some care and attention spent on taking impressions and registering the bite, these dentures can last for a good few years.

metal-frameMetal Frame Dentures/ Cobalt Chrome

Metal dentures have a very small profile so are great when speech may be an issue. They also work very well for anyone with some natural teeth remaining because they can provide great retention. Metal frames are also very strong.

implant-retainedImplant Retained Dentures

Having just a few implants placed with the addition of retention clips on the denture can make all the difference to people who cannot keep their denture in place due to loss of too many natural teeth, or have excessive bone loss in the areas required for denture retention. This technique is very common when all the natural lower teeth have been lost and the denture has nothing to keep it in place. It involves two small screws place in the lower bone and two micro attachments located in the denture so that the denture just simply clips in to place. This treatment can literally change the way you feel about wearing dentures and it’s the most cost effective use of implants.
