About Us

Dental Care with Jill Cooper opened in 2006 to provide NHS dental care to the people of Lymm, Warrington and the surrounding area. The practice has grown mainly due to recommendation with two full time surgeries treating in excess of 6,000 patients. We see all children on the NHS but the majority of our fee paying adults are seen on a private dental bases which allows us to provide a high quality dental service at affordable prices.

We provide a full range of dental services including white and metal filling, the treatment of gum disease, crowns, dental veneers, dental implants, root canal treatment, teeth straightening, tooth whitening, oral health education and full smile makeovers.

We involve our patients in their treatment always explaining options and giving patient’s choice. Our primary aim is to help our patients achieve a high level of dental health that they are able to maintain and for our patients to be confident in their smile and happy with their teeth. We are a friendly approachable team who want to work with you with your best interests always at heart.

Our Team

Jill-Cooper

Jill Cooper (BDS DPDS)

  • Has been running the practice since February 2006.
  • Qualified from University College London (UK) in 1988.
  • Is a highly dedicated and experienced dental practitioner.
  • She has been working in general dental practice for 27 years.
  • Is fully qualified and registered with the General Dental Council – GDC Number: 63945
  • Is keen on postgraduate dental studies and has a diploma from Bristol University.
  • Has a keen interest in the treatment of gum disease and root canal treatments, teeth straightening and dental implants.
  • Jill likes to play a little tennis, jog (occasionally), walk in the hills and spend time with her family.

Nafisa-Hanif

Nafisa Hanif (BDS, MFDS RCS Ed)

  • Nafisa qualified from the University of Manchester in 2005.
  • She is fully qualified and registered with the GDC and she is also a member of the faculty of Dental Surgeons (Edinburgh).
  • Nafisa is a highly experienced Dental Practitioner who has worked at several dental practices here in the northwest.
  • Nafisa has a particular interest in the treatment of children and nervous patients.
  • Nafisa’s quiet and calm nature makes her able to put nervous patients at ease and her excellent clinical skills allow her to provide high quality dental treatment.

Charlotte-Brennan

Charlotte Brennan BDS

  • Charlotte qualified from Sheffield University in 2008.
  • She has particular interests in oral surgery and Root treatments
  • Charlotte is in her second year of an MSC course in endodontics (root canal treatments) at UCLAN.
  • She has worked in Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield in their oral surgery department.
  • She is a very approachable and considerate dentist always working her hardest for her patients.
  • Is fully qualified and registered with the General Dental Council – GDC Number: 153875
  • She enjoys rowing at Warrington rowing club, and running.

Jo-Booth

Jo Booth (Practice Manager)

  • Jo joined the practice in 2008.
  • She is a fully qualified dental nurse and registered with the General Dental Council – GDC Number: 182037
  • She has also enhanced her skills and is fully qualified to apply high fluoride varnish to teeth.
  • She is very knowledgeable and always happy to help.
  • What she likes most about dentistry is ‘helping patients who are nervous or in pain and meeting new and interesting people’.
  • Jo loves music, good food and wine and, at the weekend, can be found on the touchline of the local football pitches watching one of her boys play football.

Karen-Jackson

Karen Jackson (Dental Nurse)

  • Karen has been with the practice from its start in February 2006.
  • Karen is the decontamination lead nurse.
  • She has been a dental nurse for longer than she cares to remember.
  • She is fully registered with the General Dental Council GDC Number: 146700
  • She has enhanced her skills so that she is fully qualified to apply high fluoride varnish to teeth.
  • What she likes most about dentistry is ‘watching children come into the dentist with a smile on their face’.
  • Karen loves to holiday in Kefalonia and Wales and spend time with her four grandchildren.

Dawn-Walker

Dawn Walker (Dental Nurse)

  • Dawn joined the practice in May 2008. She has completed her dental nurse training within the practice and qualified in January 2012. She is registered with the General Dental Council – GDC Number: 227922
  • Dawn has great communication skills and is always making everybody laugh.
  • What she likes most about dentistry is ‘meeting patients and putting them at their ease. Being able to help everybody that comes in gives great job satisfaction.’
  • Dawn loves to read. Her favourite book is Time Traveller’s Wife but generally likes a nice gory book. She is a member of a book club and likes to walk in The Lakes.

Karen-Barker

Karen Barker (Receptionist)

  • Karen joined the practice in June 2010.
  • Karen works on the reception.
  • She enjoys putting people at their ease in the waiting room.
  • What she likes best about dentistry is ‘meeting people and to see satisfaction on people’s faces when their teeth no longer hurt’
  • She likes keeping fit, reading and eating very hot chilli. She is also a closet Robbie Williams fan.

Diane-Boardman

Diane Boardman (Receptionist)

  • Diane works on reception.
  • She also works in our decontamination room making sure that all equipment is sterilized between patients.
  • Diane has three children and has lived in Lymm for many years.
  • She enjoys going to the gym, reading and cooking.
